Auxilo registers 98% y-o-y Growth in Overseas Education Loans in Delhi NCR

Auxilo announces 2 new touch-points in Jaipur and Chandigarh

Delhi, February 27, 2025: Auxilo Finserve, the leading education finance NBFC, has registered a 98% year-on-year growth from Delhi NCR in the last 3 years. The company is also focussing on increasing its team strength in Delhi NCR to meet the growing demand and facilitate faster processing of loans.

Highlights:

  • For the current FY, Auxilo aims to achieve a growth of over 25% in the overseas education loan segment across India
  • In 2024, nearly 1.3 million students travelled abroad from India, with nearly 2 million expected to travel in 2025.

Speaking on the launch of the new branch, Shweta Guru, CBO – Overseas Loans, Auxilo informs “As planned, Auxilo will launch multiple touch-points and also strengthen the team size in the coming quarters to further boost our efficiency and reach. We have also invested in a specialized support team to offer personalised support to students throughout their education journey, and in advanced technologies for faster processing of loans”.

The company has opened 2 new touch-points to cater to the increasing demands from Jaipur and Chandigarh.

“In the last few years, we have witnessed an exponential y-o-y growth in student numbers for overseas education, especially from semi-urban locations” informed Ms. Guru.

As per industry reports, over 1.3 million Indian students travelled to overseas destinations to pursue higher education in 2024, indicating a strong growth from 7,50,000 students in 2023.

Auxilo provides loans ranging from 35 Lakhs to 1 crore for overseas education. As per data, the top courses preferred by Indian students are Master in Computer Science, Master in Information Systems, Master in Business Administration, Master in Business Analytics, and Master in Data Science among others.

“Leading universities in the UK, Germany, Australia, Canada and the USA are the top 5 locations preferred by Indian students” added Ms. Guru.

To date, Auxilo has provided education loans to over 15,000 aspirational students, across more than 1400 Universities and education institutes in over 25 countries. The company has also provided finance to over 220 educational institutes for their infrastructure expansion and working capital requirements
